Returns and Repairs
When returning any equipment to WashGear for repair please use the steps listed here to ensure proper handling of your return. Typically repairs will be performed within two weeks of the receipt of a returned item.

Once the item has been inspected and repaired WashGear will contact you with total charges. If repair charge is expected to exceed $500.00 you will be contacted for approval before the repair is made. All repair charges must be paid in full before the repaired item will be shipped back to you.
  1. If sending in a circuit board from an original CardMate terminal, you will need to include on your Return Form the serial number from the CardMate in which the circuit board was installed. The serial number is located on the box directly below the ethernet port and will start with CM. The serial number is required in order to program the circuit board correctly.

  2. Fill out the Return Form. Include the completed form in your shipment to ensure quick processing of your repair.

  3. We recommend that repair items be sent via FedEx or UPS.
    Returns shipped by U.S. Mail usually take much longer to get here.

  4. Keep in mind that your return item is your responsibility until it is in the hands of a WashGear employee so if you are risk averse, you should fully insure all packages when shipping them to WashGear because WashGear is not responsible for items that get lost or damaged in transit.
